Do I need a card to start?
No. A free account gives you one 6-question paper a day, marked in full, without any payment
details. You only pay if you want unlimited full-length papers.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drop back to the
free daily paper. Your scores, weak topics and history stay in your account.
How accurate is the marking?
Your answer is marked point by point against the mark scheme written with the question, awarding
whole marks and crediting valid alternative wording. It is practice feedback, not an official
Cambridge mark, and the grade shown is indicative only.
What if a question or a mark scheme is wrong?
Report it on the question itself. It gets reviewed with your answer and the scheme attached, and
if the scheme was wrong the mark is corrected and your score updated.
Are these real past papers?
No, and they never will be. Cambridge past papers and mark schemes are Cambridge's copyright.
Every question here is written from scratch in the same style — the same command words, mark
allocation and mark-scheme conventions. Every paper we write is kept in the paper library, free
to browse and sit — all of it our own work, none of it Cambridge's.
Are the questions invented, or grounded in something?
Grounded. Every question is generated against the real syllabus document for your code — its
paper structure, mark totals, durations and topic list — so it cannot wander off-syllabus or
pull in material from the wrong level.
Do I type my answers or write them?
You type them, so what gets marked is the physics, not your penmanship. That is a real
difference from the exam hall and worth knowing before you rely on the score. If you would
rather write by hand, print the paper and use the timer alongside it.
Is using this allowed?
Yes. It is practice material you write and mark yourself, the same as working through a
textbook or a revision guide. It is not connected to any exam board and produces no official
result.
