What Hungter is, what it costs, what it will never do, and how the marking actually works.
What is Hungter?
Hungter writes original Cambridge-style guess papers for O Level, IGCSE and A Level. You sit them on a timer and get marked against a mark scheme, point by point, like an examiner would.
How much does it cost?
Free accounts get one 6-question sample paper a day, with no card needed. Membership is $5 a month, recurring, for unlimited full-length papers across every subject we cover. There is one plan and you can cancel any time.
Are these real past papers?
No. Cambridge past papers and mark schemes are Cambridge's copyright, and Hungter never hosts or copies them. Every question is written from scratch in the same style — the same command words, mark allocation and mark-scheme conventions. The past-papers section indexes which official papers exist and links you to the official source.
Which AI writes the papers?
One model does all of it: Anthropic's Claude, prompted as a senior CAIE examiner and grounded on the exact syllabus, paper structure and topic list you pick. One model rather than several keeps the style consistent across a whole paper.
How accurate is the marking?
Written answers are marked point by point against the mark scheme generated with the paper, awarding whole marks and crediting valid alternative wording. It is practice feedback, not an official Cambridge mark, and the grade shown is indicative only.
Which subjects are covered?
Nineteen O Level and IGCSE syllabuses and eleven A Level syllabuses — thirty in total — each set up with its real paper structure, mark totals, durations and topic list.
Is my data safe?
Your papers and scores are saved to your account and in your browser. The subject and topics you pick are sent to the AI provider to generate the paper and mark your answers.
How does the XP system work?
XP comes from papers you sit, the marks you earn, your daily streak and milestones. Your dashboard shows papers sat, average score, best grade and the topics costing you the most marks.
How do I reset my progress?
Open your profile page and use the “Reset all progress” button in the danger zone.
